Our Staff

Pastors

Chris Tenny, Interim Pastor.  We are pleased to welcome Chris as he steps into the leadership role of Interim Pastor while we search for God's leading and provision of a Senior Pastor. Chris and his wife, Cassie, are part of a team which is in the process of planting a church in downtown San Jose.

Bryan Prats, Youth Pastor. Bryan came on staff in March 2009 after having served in youth ministry for several years in a volunteer position. Bryan would like to see the youth of WGBC (and their friends) develop a deep walk with Jesus whereby they can meet the challenges of life! His talents include being a very good golfer (so look out if he asks you to go golfing with him!).

Frank Prats, Worship Ministries Director.  Frank came on staff in July 2009 after having served in our music ministry for many years.  Frank has been active in the construction business but in the past few months God tugged at his heart to take this step of faith (and we're glad he did)!   He is married to Jean and they have two children and two grandchildren.

Office Staff

Jean Prats, Administrator. Jean oversees all scheduling functions in addition to
assisting the elders on various projects. Jean is married to Frank and they have
two grown children (as well as two grandchildren). Jean enjoys gardening!

Catherine Thiemann, Office Manager. Catherine's is the friendly voice you hear
when you call the church office. Catherine is married to John and they have one
son. Catherine also enjoys gardening!!

Elders

Along with the pastors, the elders serve unpaid as our top leadership team setting the direction and strategy for the overall ministry. They are  Al Hanson, John Lunsford, and Frank Prats
